- Farm Visits: I've heard this from a couple of people: "The Best Impression a Farm Manager can make is a Footprint".
Farm managers cannot adequately do their jobs with our jobs without being on the farm. We're not there every day, or even every month, but we do make periodic visits to the property to see that what has been discussed with the operator and or contractors is being done. Reports of these visits with photos are then sent to the clients for verification and or approval. Your Farm Manager should have some mud or dust on his boots. If he is wearing a 3 piece suit, odds are he does not spend any time in the field.
